Krieg, who started for the WSV DJK Rastbüchl , belonged to the first generation of female ski jumpers in Germany on a professional level. At the FIS Ladies Grand Prix 2000 she was second in the team in the first competition on her home hill, the Baptist Kitzlinger hill . War also achieved good top 15 placements in the individual competitions that followed. At the German Championships in Meinerzhagen in 2002 , she won the silver medal in individual jumping behind Ann-Kathrin Reger . In January 2003 she reached places 24 and 14 at two FIS competitions in Villach . From August 2005, Krieg was part of the national team in the Ski Jumping Continental Cup , which was only the second time that the highest competition class in women's ski jumping was held. Already in her first competition in Bischofshofen she reached the points as 23rd. She also achieved this success in Klingenthal and Pöhla . So she was part of the squad in winter and won a total of 36 points in her first season, making her 36th overall. At the end of the season, she retired from ski jumping at the age of 25.
