Stefko Hanushevsky

Stefko Hanushevsky (* 1980 in Linz , Upper Austria ) is an Austrian actor .

Life

Family and education

Hanushevsky comes from a family with Austrian, American, Ukrainian, Slovenian and Italian ancestors. He grew up in a family of musicians and was interested in theater and film as a child. After graduating from high school and completing his military service, he first began studying philosophy and theater studies in Vienna , where he completed his studies with several part-time jobs a. a. financed as a ticket agent at the Burgtheater , lifeguard and tour guide for US tourists. He then decided to become an actor, and from 2001 to 2005 completed his acting studies at the University of the Arts in Berlin . During his studies he already appeared at the Vagantenbühne Berlin and at the Grips Theater , where he appeared on stage as Lysander in Shakespeare's comedy A Midsummer Night's Dream in 2004 .

In the 2015/16 season (premiere: April 2016) he took on the title role in Cyrano de Bergerac at the Schauspiel Köln, again under the direction of Simon Solberg . He also appeared as the nephew of Mortimer Brewster in arsenic and lace .

At the Schauspiel Köln he also developed the concert evenings Hit me baby Vol. I, II and III together with Christopher Brandt , in which he sings musical hits from the last 400 years and is accompanied by Brandt on guitar and piano. Brandt and Hanushevsky also made guest appearances at the Dresden State Theater with the recital Hit me baby one more time .

Movie and TV

Since 2004 Hanushevsky has also worked for film and television and works regularly as a radio speaker and reciter. He had performances a. a. in the ZDF crime series SOKO Leipzig (2009) and in Münster's Tatort: ​​Swan Lake (2015).

In the ZDF crime series Marie Brand , he played the role of archivist Sprang in the film Marie Brand and the Trace of Fear (first broadcast: April 2016). In November 2016 he was seen in the ZDF series Heartbreaker - Father of Four Sons in an episode role; he played Udo Bannes, the loving foster father of a boy who is supposed to return to his mother. In December 2016 Hanushevsky was also seen in an episode role in the ZDF crime series SOKO Cologne ; he played the corrupt pharmaceutical scientist Dr. Claus Kerber.

Awards

In 2004 he received a solo prize at the Theatertreffen German-speaking drama students in Hanover . In 2014 he was honored as the best actor at the NRW Theatertreffen for his performance (with "charisma and strong game intelligence, light-footed play and great comedic talent") in The Good Man of Sezuan .

Private

In addition to being Austrian, Hanushevsky is also a US citizen. He lives in Cologne.
