The Steinbach is a right tributary of the Isar in Upper Bavaria .

The Steinbach arises from the confluence of the Sattelbach , Buchetskogelgraben and Baumgartengraben in the valley cut north of the Fockenstein . In the further course to the northwest, the Steinbach takes on the inflow of numerous other ditches, as well as the Sonnersbach and the Rechelbach . The brook finally flows into the Isar near the village of Steinbach .

The Steinbach has numerous barriers in its course.
