The Steinbach is a right tributary of the Main near Ebelsbach in the Haßbergen .

The Steinbach rises south of Bischofsheim on the district road 14. It flows in a south-easterly direction to Steinbach . There it crosses under federal highway 26 and the Bamberg – Würzburg railway line and then flows into the Main below the Limbach barrage .
