Fachingen quarry
Coordinates: 50 ° 21 ′ 59 ″ N , 7 ° 59 ′ 28 ″ E
The Fachingen quarry nature reserve is located in the district of Birlenbach in the Rhein-Lahn district in Rhineland-Palatinate .
The 11.74 hectare area, which was placed under nature protection by ordinance of June 12, 1984 , extends between the Lahn flowing to the north and the Fachinger Weg (= K 31) in the south.
The area is an abandoned quarry with bodies of water.
