Broom chapel "Our Lady of Perpetual Help" near Steinhauser (2012)

The hamlet is on the Ziegeleistraße, which connects the village of Wennedach with Reinstetten. It was first mentioned in the documents about Reinstetten in the 19th century as "Haus Steinhauser" . In 2012 the hamlet had two houses (house number 44) and a barn .

The Öchsle narrow-gauge railway passes the settlement about 150 meters to the north . To the west of the hamlet is the former district waste dump and to the south is the so-called "Seelache" , the outdoor pool in Reinstetten.

In the vicinity of the hamlet is the broom and lady chapel "Our Lady of Perpetual Help", built in 1875.
