Steinkirchen is a district of the Upper Bavarian community of Aßling in the district of Ebersberg .

The place is northeast of the core town Aßling. The St 2080 runs to the west and the St 2079 to the south. The Attel , a left tributary of the Inn, flows west of the village .

Attractions

In the list of architectural monuments in Aßling , three architectural monuments are listed for Steinkirchen :

  • The wayside shrine at Höllgrabenholz, on the road to Tegernau, is a high stone column with a lantern and sheet metal painting, labeled "1753".
  • The Catholic branch church St. Martin is a late Gothic hall building with a retracted polygonal choir , northern flank tower with onion dome and two-storey porch. In the second half of the 17th century, the building, which dates from around 1515, was redesigned in Baroque style .
  • The former farm (Steinkirchen 7) is a two-storey single- ridge system with a log upper storey, flat saddle roof and arbors . The building dates from the second quarter of the 18th century, the Bundwerk from the second quarter of the 19th century.
