Stella Kunkat

Stella Kunkat (born December 29, 1998 ) is a German actress .

Life

Kunkat attended the Protestant Montessori School in Berlin-Mitte . She sang in the children's choir of the Komische Oper Berlin and was discovered there when she took part in a performance of Madame Butterfly in 2005 . She had her first film role in 2007 at the age of eight as a child actress in the film Die Flucht , in which she played the daughter of the protagonist portrayed by Maria Furtwängler . In the TV movie Romy , she played six-year-old Romy Schneider .

The first feature film with Kunkat was released in German cinemas on February 17, 2011. In the film Dschungelkind based on the book of the same name by Sabine Kuegler , she played the young Sabine Kuegler. In March 2012 she was nominated for this at the Young Artist Awards 2012 in the category “Best Representation in an International Feature Film”. In the film The Diary of Anne Frank , which was released on March 3, 2016, she plays Anne Frank's older sister Margot Frank .
