The Church of Stenum |
Stenum is a Danish town in the northwest of the Vendsyssel . Stenum belongs to the parish ( Danish : Sogn ) Stenum Sogn , which belonged to Harde Børglum Herred in what was then Hjørring Amt until the municipal reform in 1970 , then to Brønderslev Kommune in Nordjyllands Amt , which became part of the new Brønderslev Kommune with the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 rose in the Nordjylland region. Stenum has 275 inhabitants (January 1, 2020).
There is a "local partnership" with the place of the same name Stenum in the municipality of Ganderkesee . There are regular meetings between the two places, mostly at Whitsun , organized by the local and local history association Stenum- Schierbrok .
