Stephan Lamprecht

Stephan Lamprecht (born October 29, 1968 in Hamburg ) is a German non-fiction author , journalist and blogger . He has specialized in information technology and internet-related topics.

Life

Lamprecht grew up in Ahrensburg , where he graduated from the Stormarn School in 1988 . He then began studying modern history and German at the University of Hamburg , which he broke off after completing his basic studies. He then worked as a journalist and was among other things editor-in-chief of the Austrian magazine "PC Internet".

In 1996 he became an employee for electronic media at Gruner + Jahr . He was involved in the first internet presence of Hamburger Morgenpost and Berliner Zeitung . A year later he switched to Intershop . In the following years he wrote books and articles and also worked as a management consultant. Another client was ZDNet .

Since 1999 he worked for the Hamburg company Star Finanz. In 2005 he moved to the financial services provider Dr. Small . Since 2010 Lamprecht has only been working as a freelancer.

Lamprecht works for the SPD at the local political level .
