Stephan Niederwieser

Stephan Niederwieser (* 1962 in Niederbayern ) is a German alternative practitioner and author of advice on alternative medicine and sexuality. As a writer , he has written several novels. He lives and works in Berlin .

Niederwieser studied German in Saarbrücken and Munich and lived in New York for two years . After his return to Germany he trained as a naturopath and learned body psychotherapy ( Hakomi ), classical homeopathy and Bach flower therapy . From 1988 to 1992 he ran an alternative medicine practice, after which he worked as an editor and magazine developer at Burda and Heinrich Bauer until 2001 .

As a writer, he became known for the novel trilogy On a Wednesday in September (1998), The only thing that matters (1999) and An apartment in the middle of the city (2001).
