Stephan Standfuß (born March 3, 1972 in Berlin ) is a German entrepreneur and politician ( CDU ). He was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives in 2016 and has been deputy chairman of the CDU parliamentary group since September 11, 2018.

Life

Standfuß attended the Schadow grammar school in Zehlendorf , where he graduated from high school in 1991. After completing basic military service in the Bundeswehr , he worked in the field of education and public relations at schools in the Barnim-Oderland region. He began studying at the Free University of Berlin and trained as an IT consultant / ITK system administrator while working. Currently (as of 2020) he is an independent entrepreneur and owner of RS-Business, ITK-Systempartner , a company for computers, networks and telephone systems based in Berlin-Zehlendorf.

Standfuß joined the CDU in 1993. Since 2007 he has been local chairman of the CDU Düppel and since 2013 deputy district chairman of the CDU Steglitz-Zehlendorf. He is also deputy chairman of the SME and Business Association (MIT) Steglitz-Zehlendorf.

As a citizens' deputy, Standfuß worked in the Committee for Equal Opportunities and Integration from 2006 to 2011 and in the Sports Committee of the Steglitz-Zehlendorf District Council from 2011 to 2016 . In the election for the Berlin House of Representatives in 2016 , he was elected to the House of Representatives as a direct candidate for the CDU via constituency 67 (Steglitz-Zehlendorf 7) . He won the direct mandate with 30.9% of the first votes . In parliament he is a member of the committee for civic engagement and participation, the committee for sport and the investigation committee "Terrorist attack Breitscheidplatz". Stephan Standfuß is sports policy spokesman for the Berlin CDU parliamentary group.

Since September 11, 2018 he has been deputy chairman of the CDU parliamentary group.

Stephan Standfuß is married and has a daughter and two sons.
