Stephanie Breitner (born September 25, 1992 in Heidelberg ) is a German soccer player .
Career
societies
Stephanie Breitner grew up in Mühlhausen near Heidelberg and started playing soccer here at 1. FC Mühlhausen , where she was on the pitch with the boys when she was young. In 2000, as a D-youth, she switched to the all-girls team of the newly founded game community (SG) 1. FC Mühlhausen / VfB St. Leon. She played here for seven years before the syndicate broke up in 2007 and all teams were incorporated into TSG 1899 Hoffenheim . Here she first played with the B-Juniors and also made occasional appearances in the women's team that played in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg. In the 2009/10 season she played with the first team in the Regionalliga Süd and managed to march straight through to the 2nd Bundesliga . Here she made her debut in the 2nd Bundesliga on August 15, 2010 in the home game against VfL Sindelfingen when she was in the starting line-up. She scored her first goal in the 2nd Bundesliga on October 31, 2010 in the away game at TSV Crailsheim when she scored 0-1 in the 32nd minute of the game. After three seasons in the 2nd Bundesliga, she and her team were promoted to the first Bundesliga at the end of the 2012/13 season .
There she made her debut on September 8, 2013 in the home game against VfL Sindelfingen, when she came on for Theresa Betz in the 86th minute of the game.
On May 9, 2018, she signed a contract with the then reigning Italian champions Fiorentina .
National team
On May 9, 2008, she made her first of two games for the German U-16 national team at the four-country tournament in Sweden. In the same year on September 16, 2008, she made her debut in the jersey of the U-17 juniors .
