Stephen Norris Bourdow (born January 2, 1966 in Saginaw ) is a former American sailor .
successes
Stephen Bourdow took part in the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona with Paul Foerster in the Flying Dutchman boat class . With a total of 32.7 points, they finished second behind the Spanish and ahead of the Danish boat and thus received the silver medal. At the side of Paul Foerster, Bourdow was also world champion in the Flying Dutchman in Tauranga in 1991 and in Cádiz in 1992 . Before moving to the Flying Dutchman, he had been active in the laser and won the silver medal in this boat in Newport in 1990 at the World Championships.
Bourdow graduated from Tulane University in 1989 before earning an MBA from Santa Clara University in 2003 . In between he was active as a sailing trainer at Stanford University .
