Great hour day
The great hour day in December of each year is the annual highlight for great hours. On this day, donations will be collected over the phone in call centers in Munich and Nuremberg from 6 a.m. with prominent support. This is accompanied extensively in the media by Bavarian Broadcasting, both on the radio and on television. The day ends with the live broadcast of the Sternstunden gala from the Frankenhalle in Nuremberg. In this gala, selected projects from Sternstunden will be presented, framed by performances by various artists (2017 e.g. Fury in the Slaughterhouse ) over 150 minutes. At the end of the broadcast, the total amount of donations made on the day of the star hour is presented.
