Steven Matebo Cheptot

Steven Matebo Cheptot (born March 30, 1974 ) is a retired Kenyan marathon runner .

In 2001 he finished eighth in the Turin marathon and fifth in the Amsterdam marathon . The following year he came second in the Rome Marathon and second in the Marathon de la Baie du Mont Saint-Michel and was third in Amsterdam with his personal best of 2:07:59 h. In 2003 he finished seventh and in 2004 fifth in the Rotterdam Marathon .

In 2005 he won the Prague Marathon . After finishing twelfth in the Eindhoven Marathon that year, he returned to Prague in 2006 and finished fourth.
