Stevie McCrorie (born March 23, 1985 in Denny , Scotland ) is a British pop singer. He won the fourth season of the vocal talent show The Voice UK .

biography

At the age of 15 Stevie McCrorie discovered music for himself and from then on played and composed solo and in bands. In 2010 he released the album These Old Traditions under the project name Stevie and the Moon . Until 2015, however, he mostly only appeared at local events in his home region and worked full-time as a firefighter.

It was his colleagues who signed him up for the talent show The Voice UK in 2015 . He was accepted for the blind auditions and convinced all four jurors there. After his appearance in the second round, the Battles , he was bet as the favorite to win. He reached the final on April 4, where he prevailed against his three competitors. After his victory, his performance of the Adam Levine song Lost Stars , which the two remaining finalists had last sung, was offered for download in the internet shops. It came in at number 6 on the UK singles chart . After the finale, his 2010 album, These Old Traditions , briefly made it to the independent charts.
