The Stewart Peak is a 1,097 m high and sharp mountain on the Scott Coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises on the south bank of the New Harbor as the easternmost elevation of a range of hills on the south flank of the Ferrar Glacier .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 2000 by James R. Stewart from Scripps Institution of Oceanography , who as chief consultant for the 1967 Diving Programs of the National Science Foundation was active in Antarctic waters.
