The album received generally positive reviews. For example, laut.de awards four out of five points and writes as a conclusion:
“Slut cannot be calculated. And that's a good thing, because with StillNo1 , the Ingolstadt-based company has developed so much that it's pure bliss. "
Plattentests.de rated the album nine out of ten points and particularly praised the arrangements:
“Fortunately, Slut likes the fun of the playful arrangement and the fresh pleasure in casual quoting. So it can happen on StillNo1 that within a few songs Radiohead , Depeche Mode , The Divine Comedy , Sigur Rós and the Beatles appear and yet there is no trace of conflict to be noticed. "
The track If I Had a Heart , which was released as the second single, is particularly praised and referred to as “famos” and “meek catchy tunes”.
The album reached number 32 in the annual charts of the editors of the music magazine Visions . In addition, the readers of the intro voted the album at number 46 in the annual charts.
