Stmpd Rcrds (pronounced “stamped records”) is a Dutch record label based in Amsterdam that was founded on March 4th, 2016 by DJ , record producer and musician Martin Garrix . It belongs to the Dutch division of Epic Records and is therefore a subsidiary of the major label Sony Music . The label is mainly designed for the release of productions from the fields of Electro-House , Future-House and Future-Bass .

history

After Martin Garrix left Spinnin 'Records and MusicAllStars on August 27, 2015 , he founded his own record label on March 4, 2016. By his own admission, he left Spinnin 'Records because of a disagreement over ownership of his music. His father's stamp auction company inspired him to name his record label. On March 11, 2015 Garrix released the song Now that I've Found You , together with John Martin and Michel Zitron as the first work on Stmpd-Rcrds.

To mark the start of the new label, Garrix organized a party in the STORY Nightclub on March 18, 2016 following his DJ set on the main stage of the Ultra Music Festival in Miami. In July 2018, the record label was represented with its own stage at Tomorrowland. In July 2019 the stage was also at the Ultra Music Festival, and in September at the Lollapalooza Festival Berlin.
