The Stoderzinken Alpenstraße ( street name Stoderstraße , Stoder , also called Panoramastraße Stoderzinken ) is an approximately 13 kilometer long road from Gröbming in the Styrian Ennstal to the Stoderzinken ski area .

course

The Stoderstraße begins as a municipal road in the center of Gröbming. After about 2½ kilometers, the actual mountain road turns left in Winkl . After several hairpin bends, it reaches the Steinerhaus am Stoderzinken, which already belongs to the municipality of Aich , after a distance of 13 kilometers and an elevation gain of around 1150 meters . There goods routes are distributed in the mountain weekend settlement of Stoder .

It is paved and has an average gradient of 9% and a maximum gradient of 13%.

history

The street was built from 1958 as a street for prospective customers by the Stoderzinken cooperative of the residents. In 1962 the road could be completed.

Since it was founded in 1993, it has been a fixture at the Ennstal Classic , one of the most famous vintage car rallies in Austria.
