The hamlet of Straßhäuser is part of the municipality of Rattiszell in the Lower Bavarian district of Straubing-Bogen . It is located just under a kilometer southwest of the center of Rattiszell and is crossed by federal highway 20 .

history

Straßhäuser only became an officially named part of the municipality of Rattiszell after 1987, but the village had existed under the name Straßhäusln since at least 1841, as a historical map shows. Historically, the place was on the road from Straubing to Cham , which is probably the background of the place name.
