Strands is a small town on the Danish Djursland peninsula in the Mols countryside . About a kilometer south is the Begtrup Vig , about a kilometer southeast is Begtrup , one kilometer northeast is Vistoft . To the northwest is the next place Thorup .
There is a forsamlingshus and several farms in Strands . The only shop, a baker, was closed. There are numerous summer houses near the coast.
