The album was largely positively received by critics. Spin.com's Theon Weber rates the album as the best garbage album since version 2.0 .
Stephan Rehm of musikexpress.de complained that the album overproduced THAT CONDITION: "An existing three-quarters of producer group tends just to overproduction", but stresses that "now even listen to this music after Bock" and Strange Little Birds a Album is "that you can be proud of".
