Stressenhausen is a district of Straufhain in the Hildburghausen district in Thuringia .

location

Stressenhausen is located on the Rodach north of Streufdorf in a rural area in the foothills. The place is accessed from the state road 2673 . From 1888 to 1946 there was a rail connection to Hildburghausen .

history

The district was first mentioned in a document in 1191.

In 2012 there were 450 inhabitants in the district.
