Su Miriam
Su Miriam is the stage name of the German singer Susi Hollnagel (actually Susanne Hollnagel , born May 17, 1957 ), who became known in the 1970s through some hit singles . She later named herself India Susanne Turner and released a pop album .
biography
The daughter of an opera and operetta singer wanted to be a singer even as a small child. Her first public appearance, in which she accompanied herself on the guitar , she had at the age of 14 in the Munich talent show "Song Parnass".
Her first singles, singing in the sun a song and ask the whole world , appeared in 1973. With the third release, the song you, you go over , kicked her in November 1974 in the ZDF - show disco on. A single entitled Peter is the Greatest , composed by Harold Faltermeyer , was released in 1976.
Today she calls herself India Susanne Turner. In 2004 the album On 17 Foxstreet was released under the shortened stage name India. It is pop music with borrowings from folk and jazz , reminiscent of Norah Jones .
