Sucha Koszalińska

Sucha Koszalińska (German Zuchen bei Köslin ) is a village in the Polish rural community Sianów ( Zanow ) in the Powiat Koszaliński ( Köslin district ) in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship .

Geographical location

Sucha Koszalińska is located in Western Pomerania, about nine kilometers northeast of Koszalin ( Köslin ) on voivodship road 203 , which branches off from state road 6 (also European road 28 ) in the direction of Darłowo ( Rügenwalde ) at Gorzebadz ( Gohrband ) . Neighboring villages are Kleszcze ( Kleist ) in the west, Skibno ( Schübben ) in the south, Wierciszewo ( Wandhagen ) in the east and Rzepkowo ( Repkow ) in the north . The nearest train station is in Schübben on the Koszalin ( Köslin ) - Sławno (Schlawe) line.

In the Middle Ages, breeding was a domain that belonged to the Principality of Cammin. As part of the Stein-Hardenberg reforms at the beginning of the 19th century, the domain was parceled out, from which the independent village of Zuchen and the separate manor district of Zuchen emerged. The village of Zuchen and the manor district of Zuchen belonged to the Wusseken district in 1908, which comprised a total of eleven communities (rural communities Kleist, Repkow, Schübben, Wusseken and Zuchen as well as the manor districts of Kleist, Laase, Repkow, Schübben, Wusseken and Zuchen).

The Zuchen manor exercised patronage over the Protestant parish in Zanow. The patronage was not replaced until 1906.
