The 1985/86 season was the 14th season of the Superliga , the highest Spanish ice hockey division . Champion became the first time ever in the club history of the CG Puigcerdà .

Main round

mode

In the main round, each of the four teams played a total of twelve games. The top three teams qualified for the final round, in which they met each opponent in the first and second leg, with the results from the main round being carried over. The two best-placed teams in the final round then played in a final game for the championship title. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a defeat.
