The 2001/02 season was the 28th season of the Superliga , the highest Spanish ice hockey division . FC Barcelona became champions for the second time in the club's history .
Main round
mode
In the main round, each of the six teams played a total of 15 games. The four best-placed teams qualified for the playoffs in which the champions were played out. Each team received three points for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a defeat.
