Susann Rosemann

Susann Rosemann (* 1969 in Bremen ) is a German author of historical novels .

Life

Susann Rosemann grew up in Saarland and after graduating from high school first studied German , but later decided to change subjects. Her subsequent studies in prehistory and early history , classical archeology and Near Eastern archeology at the University of Heidelberg , Rosemann completed with the academic degree of a Magister Artium .

After completing his studies, Rosemann turned to writing as a hobby and initially wrote short stories that appeared in magazines and anthologies . In 2012, 2014 and 2016 three historical novels were published by the Messkircher Gmeiner-Verlag .

In 2015, her novel “The False Patrician” was shortlisted for the HOMER Literature Prize , which has been awarded by the HOMER Historische Literatur eV association since 2014 for the best historical novels and short stories of the previous year, and in the Leipzig Panometer with a “Silver HOMER ”for the best historical crime thriller.

Susann Rosemann is a member of the Montségur Authors Forum .
