Susanna Böhme-Kuby

Susanna Böhme-Kuby (* 1947 in Hamburg ) is a German literary scholar , journalist and author who lives in Venice and writes for German and Italian magazines .

Life

Susanna Böhme-Kuby studied in Italy literature and history and received his doctorate with the theme Brecht in Italy for Dr. phil. One of her main research areas was the German press in the 20th century. After marrying Erich Kuby , she moved to him in Venice in 1981 and taught German literary history at the universities of Genoa , Udine and Venice .

She has published several books in German and Italian and still writes articles for both German newspapers and magazines e.g. B. the papers for German and international politics and Friday , as well as for Italian papers. In 2003 Böhme-Kuby was elected to the board of the Kurt Tucholsky Society.
