Susanna Wigger (born March 28, 1988 in Eckernförde ) is a German beach volleyball and volleyball player .

Career hall

Susanna Wigger played indoor volleyball in her youth at FT Adler Kiel and in Schleswig-Holstein's state youth team. She later played with Adler Kiel in the Regionalliga, where she was promoted to the Second Bundesliga in 2009 . Here she then played for Kiel TV and after a twelfth place in 2009/10 had to return to the Regionalliga Nord, where second place was achieved in 2010/11. After a third place in 2011/12, Wigger qualified with the KTV for the newly created third division , but then switched to local rivals Wiker SV . Here the diagonal attacker was runner-up in the Regionalliga Nord in 2012/13 and rose again to the third division. In 2016, the Wiker third division team joined Kiel TV with Wigger.

Career Beach

Born in Eckernförde, she started her beach volleyball career parallel to the hall in the early 2000s. Wigger played with various partners on the Smart Beach Tour and other national tournaments, mainly in Northern Germany. She celebrated her greatest success in 2005 at the side of Florentina Büttner when she won the silver medal at the U18 European Championships in Illichivsk (Ukraine).

Private

Susanna Wigger has been married to Daniel Krug since 2017 , with whom she has a daughter since 2018.
