Performance data

According to the manufacturer, the RG 80 reaches a top speed of 80 km / h, but in practice, higher speeds were often reached. The RG is one of the fastest series-produced light motorcycles in the class with a displacement of up to 80 cm³. The acceleration is comparatively high due to the low weight and the six-speed gearbox.

Technical specifications

The water-cooled single-cylinder two-stroke engine with a displacement of 79 cm³ achieves an output of 7 kW / 10 HP at a speed of 5,900 rpm. The empty weight is 95 kg, the permissible total weight is 300 kg.

There is a small storage compartment under the seat in which the tool kit can be stowed. The tank has a capacity of 13 liters of petrol (of which 2.8 liters are reserve) and the oil tank holds around 1.2 liters of two-stroke oil. The engine runs with separate lubrication and requires 850 ml gear oil and 1020 ml coolant for operation.
