Svein Thøgersen
Svein Thorleif Thøgersen (born June 23, 1946 in Sarpsborg ) is a former Norwegian rower .
Athletic career
Svein Thøgersen and Frank Hansen took second place in the double scull behind Joachim Böhmer and Hans-Ulrich Schmied at the European Championships in Copenhagen in 1971 , 0.38 seconds behind .
In the following year, Alexander Timoshinin and Gennadi Korschikow from the Soviet Union won the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich with 0.81 seconds ahead of the two Norwegians, behind them Böhmer and Schmied received the bronze medal.
At the European Championships in 1973 Hansen and Thøgersen did not reach the A-final, they did not enter the B-final. From 1974 Frank Hansen rowed with his brother Alf Hansen , while Thøgersen no longer appeared.
