Sven Torsten Fahlman (born July 11, 1914 in Stockholm , † June 23, 2003 in Sollentuna ) was a Swedish fencer .

successes

Sven Fahlman won the bronze medal with the sword at the world championships in Monte Carlo in 1950 and in Stockholm in 1951 with the team. In 1951 he also secured bronze in the individual. In 1947 in Lisbon and in 1954 in Luxembourg he was runner-up with the team. At the Olympic Games in Helsinki in 1952 he was eliminated in the preliminary round in both the individual competition with the epee and with the foil team. With the Swedish epee team he reached the final round, which was finished in second place behind Italy . Together with Per Carleson , Carl Forssell , Bengt Ljungquist , Lennart Magnusson and Berndt-Otto Rehbinder , Fahlman received the silver medal.
