Sven Krumbeck (born November 12, 1989 in Kiel ) is a German politician of the Greens and previously the Pirate Party . In the 18th electoral term he was a member of the state parliament of Schleswig-Holstein . Since June 1, 2018, he has been a directly elected member of the Kiel Council.

biography

Sven Krumbeck graduated from secondary school in 2007 and completed an apprenticeship as a digital and print media designer from 2009 , which he completed in 2011. From 2011 to 2012 he worked as a media designer. He is currently studying multimedia production at the Kiel University of Applied Sciences .

politics

Sven Krumbeck was a member of the Junge Piraten and, as chairman of the board of Pirate Gaming eV, an e-sports association closely related to the Pirate Party , campaigned for the rights of computer gamers. In the state election in Schleswig-Holstein in 2012 , he was elected to the state parliament via the state list of the Pirate Party Schleswig-Holstein .

On June 19, 2017, he announced his resignation from the Pirate Party Germany on his blog.

In the local elections on May 6, 2018 in Schleswig-Holstein , Krumbeck won the direct mandate for the Greens in the constituency of Kiel 5 .
