The Svindlandfjellet ( Norwegian ) is a 2002 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It rises west of Walnumfjella in the center of Sør Rondane .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1988. It is named after Sigurd Ålvik Svindland (* 1921), topographer for Operation Pingvin from 1958 to 1959 for the creation of aerial photographs in the course of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960).
