Swantje Hanck (* before 1972) is a German publishing editor and publisher .

Life

Swantje Hanck lived and worked in Bonn and Hanover and worked temporarily as a press worker in the German Federal Chancellery and in the German Bundestag . She also worked as a press officer in the Lower Saxony Ministry of Culture .

She was the founder and publisher of the Postskriptum Verlag in Hanover, which she ran from 1978 to 1998 and in which more than 40 titles appeared.

Together with employees of her publishing house, Hanck initiated the LiteraturBüro Hannover , founded as eV in 1990 , which, among other things, first organizes the Buchlust book fair in the Sprengel Museum Hannover and since 2000 in the Künstlerhaus together with the culture office of the Lower Saxony state capital and with the support of numerous institutions and companies .

Swantje Hanck is a social democrat and lives in the southern part of Hanover. She is a member of the Friends of the Hannover City Library , Friends of the Hannover City Library eV
