Swell Creek Records is a German music label from Hamburg . It was originally founded in Hanover by Bauke De Groot, bassist for Hate Squad . So far, it has mainly released German bands dedicated to hardcore , melodic hardcore and / or metalcore .
Soulfood is responsible for sales , with Violent Creek Records , a subsidiary label that has been in existence since 2014, specializing in thrash metal and related varieties.
The first band signed was Rasheed from Hanover, which turned out to be the door opener for the band Kju: also from Hanover . After the contract with Gun Records expired , Bauke De Groot released H8 For The Masses, the first album of his band Hate Squad after a seven-year break, in 2004 .
