Virtue Concept is a hardcore / metalcore group from Regensburg .
history
Virtue Concept was founded in 2011 by Raphael Grunow ( vocals ), Christian Priol ( drums ), Felix Eckmeder ( guitar ), Michael Pfeilschifter (guitar) and Johannes Eisenreich ( bass ). Before the release of their first album, Virtue Concept played as the opening act for bands such as Texas in July , War from a Harlots Mouth and Darkest Hour . Concerts with Deez Nuts , Vanna , Evergreen Terrace , Deadlock , Chelsea Grin , The Browning , More Than a Thousand and Silent Screams followed .
The debut album Sources was recorded in collaboration with producer Sebastian Reichl (guitarist and songwriter for Deadlock) and Kristian "Kohlen" Kohlmannslehner ( Crematory , Eskimo Callboy , Benighted ). A lyric video for the song Treasure Hunt (with guest vocals by Karl Schubach / Misery Signals ) was released on June 5, 2012.
On November 28, 2014 the second LP Blaze was released on the Hamburg label Swell Creek Records , which was recorded in collaboration with Aljoscha Sieg ( Any Given Day , Nasty (band) ).
In 2016 the band played at the Full Force (music festival) and the Summer Breeze Festival, among others .
In 2018 the third album was released with the name Between Scylla And Charybdis. Mixing and mastering was done by Christoph Wieczorek from Annisokay .
