Svetlana Dementieva ( Russian Светлана Дементьева * 22. October 1976 ) is a former Russian Cross Country - Sommerbiathletin .

Svetlana Dementjewa was internationally active in the 2000s. At the Summer Biathlon World Championships in 2000 in Khanty-Mansiysk , she won the silver medal as the starting runner together with Yevgenia Kuzepalova , Natalia Sokolova and Yevgenia Michailova in the Russian relay behind the representation from Belarus and ahead of the USA. She finished ninth in the sprint and fifth in the pursuit. At the 2008 Summer Biathlon European Championships in Bansko , the Russian came in sixth place in the sprint and was seventh in the mass start race.
