Svetlana Kuznetsova (born February 3, 1984 ) is a Russian cross-country skier .

Career

Kuznetsova started in Krasnogorsk in December 2007 for the first time in the cross-country skiing Eastern Europe Cup and finished 95th over 10 km classic. In November 2009 she won the Scandinavian Cup in Vuokatti over 10 km classic. She made her debut in the Cross-Country World Cup at the Tour de Ski 2010/11 , which she finished in 30th place overall. She achieved her best individual placement in the World Cup with 20th place in the sprint in Oberstdorf . At the Winter Universiade 2011 in Erzurum , she won the gold medal with the relay. In February 2011, she won 44th place in the skiathlon at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo . The following month she won the cross-country Alpine Cup in Ramsau am Dachstein in the pursuit. She last won World Cup points in Rybinsk in February 2012 with 22nd place in the skiathlon. In February 2017 she came second in the Kazan 50 km freestyle ski marathon.
