Sylla M'Mah Touré

Sylla M'Mah Touré (born December 3, 1978 ) is a Guinean sprinter . She was a participant in the 1996 and 2000 Olympic Games.

Life

Sylla M'Mah Touré took part in the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta - at the age of 17 the youngest member of the Guinea team - in the 200 m (women) competition. In the preliminary round she ran a time of 26.64 seconds in preroll 2. As the last of the run could not qualify for the next round. At the World Athletics Championships in Seville in 1999 , she took part in the competition for the 200 m distance, in the 6th round of the preliminary round she ran the distance in 26.35 seconds. She could not qualify for the next round. Touré took part in the 1999 African Games in Johannesburg . In the 100 m competition, she ran the distance in 12.70 seconds. In the overall standings she came in 25th place.

In 2000 in Sydney at the Summer Olympics , she took part in the 100 m (women) competition . In the qualification she ran a time of 12.82 seconds in the 5th round and was the last in this run and could not qualify further (73rd place in the overall standings). She needed 1: 03.92 minutes for the 400 m course in Radès (Tunisia) at the 2002 African Athletics Championships , placing her in 18th place overall

At the 2003 African Games in Abuja she was registered for the 200 m competition (women), but she did not start at the start ( DNS ). She competed in the 400 m (women) competition, but did not finish the run ( DNF ).
