Sylvia Goebel

Sylvia Goebel (* 1952 in Cologne ) is a German painter in the field of abstract acrylic painting .

Life

After studying in Cambridge and Lausanne , Sylvia Goebel completed her artistic training at the Bezabeel Art Academy in Jerusalem and in private studios in Israel . She has been working as a freelance painter since 1986. She lives in Hamburg .

Her abstract acrylic paintings have been exhibited internationally since 1990. a. in Reinbek Castle , in the Kunsthaus Wiesbaden , in the Royal College of Art in London , in the Palazzo Correr in Venice as well as in galleries in Stockholm , Saint Petersburg , Hamburg, Aix-en-Provence , Basel , on Mallorca and at the Biennale International d'Art Miniature in Québec .

Sylvia Goebel was awarded the Art Addiction international art prize in Stockholm in 1997. Some of their works were bought by public institutes.
