The synagogue in Harburg , a town in the Swabian district of Donau-Ries in Bavaria , was built in 1754. The secular synagogue at Egelseestrasse 8 is a protected architectural monument .

history

In 1754 the new building was built in place of an earlier synagogue. Its builder is unknown. The interior of the synagogue was redesigned several times and destroyed inside during the November pogroms in 1938 . The building served as a warehouse after 1939 and as a residential building from 1951. Around 1968 it was converted into a residential and office building.

description
