Syse (Ukrainian Сизе ; Russian Сизое / Sisoje ) is a village in the east of the Ukrainian Luhansk Oblast with about 10 inhabitants.

The village, founded in 1950 as a village, was settled by Don Cossacks as early as the 17th century and is located in the floodplain of the Siversky Donets near the mouth of the Derkul and borders the Russian Rostov Oblast in the west . The district capital Stanyzja Luhanska is 14 kilometers northwest, the oblast capital Luhansk is 22 kilometers west.

The village belongs administratively to the district municipality Walujske within the Stanychno -Luhanske district , which also includes the villages Walujske (Валуйське), Bolotene (Болотене) and Makarowe (Макарове) as well as the settlement Wilchowe (вельхо).

In the course of the war in Ukraine , fighting broke out in the winter of 2015 at the place, it is located immediately north of the zone controlled by the separatists.
