Wilchowe ( Ukrainian Вільхове ; Russian Ольховое Olchowoje ) is a settlement in the east of the Ukrainian Luhansk Oblast with about 3100 inhabitants (2001).
The settlement, founded in 1884, belongs administratively to the district administration of the neighboring village of Walujske in the south of the Stanychno -Luhanske district . Wilchowe has a border station to Russia on the Yassynuwata – Millerowo railway line .
The village is located 10 km east from Rajonzentrum Stanytschno-Luhanske and 30 km northeast of the Oblastzentrum Luhansk near the border with Russia's Rostov Oblast , a few kilometers north of the banks of the Seversky Donets , who arrived in the Ukraine War the border with the pro-Russian separatists occupied Area of the Rajon forms.
