Szank is a Hungarian community in the county Kiskunmajsa in Bács-Kiskun .
The motto of the community: “ Do the good and avoid the bad! "( Hungarian " Tedd a jót, és kerüld a rosszat! " ). In 1964, oil and gas reserves were discovered near the municipality .
