Szymon Andrzej Szynkowski vel Sęk (['ʃɨmɔn ʃɨn'kovski vel sɛ̃k]) (born November 24, 1982 in Poznan ) is a member of the Polish Sejm and since 2018 State Secretary in the Polish Foreign Ministry .

Szynkowski vel Sęk has been a member of the Law and Justice Party (PiS) since 2001 . Before he was a member of parliament, he was the assistant to Jacek Tomczak and MEP Marcin Libicki . He also worked in the parliamentary offices of Konrad Szymański and Ryszard Czarnecki .

From 2006 to 2015 Szynkowski vel Sęk was a member of the Poznan City Council. There he was chairman of the PiS parliamentary group.

In the Sejm elections in October 2015 , he won a parliamentary mandate in the Poznan constituency.

Szynkowski vel Sęk was the chairman of the German-Polish parliamentary group, which consists of members of the German Bundestag and the Sejm.

On June 1, 2018, Szynkowski vel Sęk was appointed State Secretary (Deputy Minister) in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
