T&T is the sponsor and namesake of the association . The club was founded in 2006 and has been promoted twice since then. In 2010 they became champions for the first time, until 2013 they won their second title. In 2016, after a long struggle and many failures, they became champions. In the end they were equal on points with Hai Phong but had scored 2 more goals. The captain was the Argentinian striker Gonzalo Marronkle .
